About Gold and Silver Thread:
Gold and silver thread is a traditional Japanese craft with a very long history. It is used in a
variety of techniques, such as Nishijin-ori kimono embroidery, weaving and braiding.
This item uses pure silver-based gold and silver thread produced in Kyoto, a region famous
for its gold and silver thread. The texture and luster of gold and silver thread are
unparalleled in beauty. The silver thread has a special coating that prevents fading over time, but discoloration may occur depending on usage and storage conditions, such as high
temperatures and humidity.
We recommend wiping off any dirt, such as sweat and sebum, after use.

〈金銀糸(きんぎんし)について〉
非常に長い歴史のある、日本の伝統工芸品です。西陣織など着物の刺繍をはじめ、織物や組紐など様々な技法で用いられています。
金銀糸の産地・京都で作られた、純銀をベースにした金銀糸を使用しています。金銀糸ならではの質感と艶は、唯一無二の美しさです。シルバーに特殊コーティングを施した糸は、経年による褪色も殆どありませんが、高温多湿等ご使用・保管状況により変色する場合もございます。付着した汗や皮脂などの汚れは、ご使用後拭き取ることをおすすめします。
